Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) Computer- Based Examination/ The Regulatory Exam- Practical Nurse (REx-PN) Computerized Adaptive Test (CAT)
The CPNRE is the national practical nurse licensing examination. The exam is to test fundamental competencies that are expected of a beginner registered practical nurse in Canada. CPNRE (RPN/LPN).
The REx-PN is an entry-to-practice exam for those applying to become an RPN in Ontario or LPN in British Columbia.
Program Overview
The Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) and REx-PN Preparation Program is designed for Canadian nursing school graduates and nurses from other countries who wish to become a registered Practical Nurse (PN) in Canada. Following the completion of this preparation program, students will be adequately prepared to take the Canadian PN Registration Examination. Each year we help many students pass their CPNRE.
